Prov 22:6
6 Start children off on the way they should go,
and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

1 Cor 14:9
9 So it is with you. Unless you speak intelligible words with your tongue, how will anyone know what you are saying? You will just be speaking into the air.
- When you train a child, speak a language they understand. That way they can learn and follow the path God has set for them
Eph 6:4
4 Fathers,[b] do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
- Don't frustrate your children (intensely irritating children)
- Train the children and instruct them in the ways of the Lord
Col 3:21
21 Fathers,[c] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
- Frustrating children makes them bitter and discourages them in life. Overly correcting a child can actually frustrate and deeply irritate children
Prov 13:24
24 Whoever spares the rod hates their children,
but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them.
