Speak God's word

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

God's word is a powerful tool that we should always speak and allow it's power to work in us and around us. It is such a privilege to have this powerful word of God working in us.

2 Tim 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

God's word is God Himself revealed through words. Reading God's word is therefore an opportunity to sit with God and allow Him to teach me who He is and use me to teach others who He is.

Scriptures reveal God's will, His desires, and His perfect way. When we speak His word, we allow Him to act in us and those around us who have heard the same message.

2 Pet 1:20-21
20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. 21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, God's word reveals the future through His Prophets. It is through such revelations that God tells us to act either in repentance or faith in response to His word.

Verse 20 reminds us that when we speak God's word and it comes to pass, it is not because we have grasped God's words and are doing exploits.
No!
It is because of what verse 21 explains.
It is because of God. We are vessels, God's Holy Spirit speaks through us and His power works through His word. Nothing to do with us.

This is God's word, for His will, powered by His Holy Spirit.

When God's power is revealed in His word, I should remember it is His divine nature to do so. I was just a vessel.

Therefore I should speak His word as He guides me for effectiveness and give Him glory for His ability to work miracles.

1 Pet 4:11 Concludes this powerfully
11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer
Dear God, open my mouth to speak Your word in truth and teach me to always give glory to You because You will do great things.
