Hope in God, always Hope in God

Heb 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This sounds like a longing in Christ's heart-'For the joy set before him'

This longing, joy, made and gave meaning to patience and perseverance.

Is 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Wow!
Did you know hope is like a recharge to our faith?
Hope in the Lord makes us receive strength to run but not tire, walk and not wear out.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

And who is our hope? Jehovah. He assures us to prosper us. God's prosperity and the world's prosperity are very different.
He assures us that He is not seeking to harm us.
He is asking us to hope in Him.

Rom 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Hope will never disappoint us.

Rom 5:33 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;

God reminds us that we rejoice in our suffering because we know that He is working through it to produce perseverance/ patience and thereby build on our character.

Amen
