Eph 4:28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need.
Work so that you can share with the needy.
Vision-When I work, my focus should not be on the selfish pleasures and desires but on a vision.
According to Eph 4:28, Vision is meeting needs of those who lack. e.g. through creating employment.
The reason this is important is because of a warning God has placed in the Bible.
James 4:1-4 1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. 4 You adulterous people,[a] don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Fights, Quarrels, Murder...
God is calling me to correct this attitude.
How? Combine work with prayers. Let God bless our works with His presence and vision.
Ask God, and receive for God's glory then use for God's glory
